I’m very curious who these supposed malnourished vegans are that meat eaters base their stereotypes off of? I’ve never met one. Maybe it’s one of those ex vegans who run around saying how they almost died, but didn’t eat anything?

Well guess what? You were doing it wrong. You can’t cut things out, you have to replace. While vegan junk food is still junk food, it’s a hell of a lot less dangerous than a Big Mac. It’s almost comical that people who live in the fattest country (an obesity rate of 35%) call vegans unhealthy. The leading cause of death in America is heart disease. Did it ever occur to them to take a look in the mirror before insulting our diet? “But where do you get your protein?” - In amino acids- look that shit up.

In my personal experience, most of the people who’ve attacked me for being a vegan, have had a significant tum tum. I’m not saying that all vegans are skinny, but I am tired of thin bashing. I don’t have a sweet tooth, and I can still fit in my jeans from high school. (I went vegan in high school).

I can understand the root of an opinionated attack, “mmmm steak.” <— Oh, bite me. But calling us unhealthy is flat out wrong. My cholesterol level is the stuff that dreams are made of, and I don’t have to take Lipitor to achieve that. When was the last time you heard the doctor tell you, “I think you may need to cut down on your kale consumption.” I may have gone vegan for animal rights, but it turned out to be the best decision for my health.
