I have always had troubled skin. My biggest problem isn’t from my diet, my diet has helped my skin, it’s that I’m active. I ride my bike everywhere, so I sweat. Sweating is good, but it’ll make you break out if you don’t clean those pores.
Another culprit of break outs: makeup. Use mineral makeup and CLEAN your brushes. I have a huge makeup post coming up, but real quickly, I use Mineral Fusion's loose powder and their brush cleaner.
✳ I’ll share with you my favorite vegan, cruelty free skin care lines.
1⃣  Skin by Ann Webb
2⃣  DeVita
3⃣  Giovanni Eco Chic Skin Care.
4⃣  Aubrey Organics
For men I suggest:
5⃣  Aubrey Organics - Men’s Stock
6⃣  Jack Black
7⃣  Lush is a great company. I personally find the smell of their store a little too overwhelming, but their ingredients are natural and mostly vegan.
If you have limited options and/or are on a budget Aubrey and Giovanni are less expensive than the rest.
8⃣  Alba and 9⃣  Jason have some skin care products that work. They will be more accessible and cheaper because they are owned by Hain Celestial Group, so you’ll find them in most drugstores like CVS. They’re not as great as the products above, but they’re a hell of a lot better than anything from Neutrogena. (Bleh)
Biggest problem: availability and cost. I will say this, you get what you pay for. Read the ingredients. The more natural, the better. Anything with Vitamin C and anti-oxidants is bound to improve your complexion. Your skin will absorb whatever you put on it. If you can’t afford it. Don’t settle for cheap drug store brands, you can make it yourself which I will post next :) #vegansofig
