Okay omnivores here’s the deal, you were not “designed” to eat meat. Omnivores are NOT carnivores. If you are really “on top of the food chain,” show me your talons! 😉

What man has been able to do is invent tools to eat meat. Hunting an animal with a gun is not the same as a lion chasing down a zebra. Humans are only able to eat meat by technology, not naturally. If we have truly adapted to eating animal products, wouldn’t cancer, heart disease, hypertension, osteoporosis, and type two diabetes be decreasing, rather than skyrocketing?

If we were made to eat meat, we wouldn’t have to cook meat with all of those salts and spices. I mean, if you LOVE meat, try eating it raw. Yummy! Humans can’t eat raw meat without getting really sick. See a carnivore’s stomach secretes powerful digestive enzymes with about 10 times the amount of hydrochloric acid than an omnivore or herbivore. Humans literally cannot stomach E. Coli bacteria, salmonella, campylobacter, trichina worms [parasites] or other pathogens. Lions can.

So if you buy your meat at the grocery store, and call yourself “the top of the food chain,” please collect your thoughts, and understand that you’re an omnivore of the 21st century (which is basically an omnomnomnivore) that really needs to go vegan. #vegansofig
